Our Family, Our Story

The Risi family is a local, tight-knit family with roots in the Youngstown area that reach across Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Texas, and, yes, Italy. Our blended family’s heritage comes from the Abruzzo, Campania, and Calabria regions of Italy. One of our favorite things has always been gathering friends and family around the table, sharing dinner, and making memories. In today’s 24/7, nonstop world, we believe there is something special about slowing down, breaking bread together, and making time to truly connect with the people who matter most. Our journey started with a pizza oven on our deck. From there, it grew into a Mobile Pizza Bar and eventually into our first brick-and-mortar restaurant. Today, we are excited to share more than just pizza. We bring you family recipes that have been enjoyed, perfected, and passed down over the years. With a dining room that seats nearly 50 guests and a private party room for nearly 20, it is our joy and honor to welcome you, your family, and your friends. We hope you’ll join us on this journey. It started with a pizza oven on the back deck and friends who never wanted to leave. That spark became a Mobile Pizza Bar, then Risi's first brick-and-mortar — a dining room for 50 and a private party room for 20.
